Hannah Rarity’s sublime voice imbues the music she performs with a depth of emotion that is inimitable. It’s this ability that has seen her become one of Scotland’s foremost young singers. Winner of BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2018, her status as a rising talent has been further consolidated by her Scots Singer of the Year nomination at the 2017 Scots Trad Music Awards and feature as ‘One to Watch in 2018’ in The Scotsman.
Equally at home as accompanist or melody player, Anna Massie is one of Scotland’s foremost guitarists. A skilled multi-instrumentalist, she also excels on the fiddle, mandolin and tenor banjo. Renowned for her work with Blazin’ Fiddles and Mairearad Green, the past few years have also seen Anna perform with her own band, Bella Hardy, Julie Fowlis, Kate Rusby, Karen Matheson, Capercaillie and Eddi Reader. Three time nominee for Best Instrumentalist at the Scots Trad Music Awards, she is a highy talented musician

Doors open and bar from 7.30pm, music starts at 8pm.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Head up the Spott Road 1.3 miles from the Spott Roundabout (2nd roundabout at Dunbar if Southbound from Edinburgh, 1st if Northbound) and the village hall is on your right as you enter the village. Parking is on-street. If walking, allow 20 mins from the roundabout.
What can I bring into the event?
The hall will have an alcohol licence for the event and will be selling bottled beers and wine by the glass.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Electronic tickets are accepted on the door, but if your mobile dies… paper is always safe. Also see the FAQ below on ticket transfer.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
We’re happy for you to transfer your ticket to someone else but they must bring a printed ticket with them.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Of course – though as above, please bring a printed ticket.
Is this event suitable for children?
We would suggest a minimum age of 12, as this is a live music event.
